Student Scholarships

SUNYFAP members believe in supporting the students we serve, which is why there are four Student Scholarships offered on an annual basis:

Annual Student Scholarship Fact Booklet
This scholarship will be awarded to a student who has been nominated by an active SUNYFAP,Inc. member and who meets the eligibility criteria

Student Scholarship Application
This application must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office at your institution with a typed two-page student essay. This form is not currently available.

Member Scholarships

SUNYFAP Training Scholarship Application
Any SUNYFAP,Inc. member or associate member may apply. Training scholarships are intended to assist active members in developing their full professional potential.

SUNYFAP Conference Grant
To encourage involvement and promote future leadership in SUNYFAP, Inc. by offering financial assistance to active members who lack the necessary funding to attend the annual conference.

SUNYFAP, Inc. Awards and Nomination Forms

Service Nomination Form
The SUNYFAP Service Award is available to active members who have made significant contributions to the organization. Nominations are made by the membership to the Scholarship and Awards Committee by March 15th of each year. More than one award may be granted. It is given at the annual conference and recognized by a permanent plaque.

Bill Troy Nomination Form
The Bill Troy Service Award is available to both current and past members, who were active members at the time of their retirement. Nominations are made by the membership to the Scholarship and Awards Committee by March 15th of each year. The award is only given during years when the committee believes that there is a deserving individual who has given a significant long-term commitment to SUNYFAP and the profession. It is given at the annual conference and recognized by a permanent plaque given to the awardee.
